Thematically and musically, “Meridian” represents a middle point, the conceptual threshold midway through a journey where one more step means finding yourself for the first time closer to the endpoint than the outset. As the calm determination of the rosy dawn matures toward midday, everything has to be seen clearly in the direct light of the zenith. Both aspirations and doubts become more pronounced, true colors on full display. So does the “Daybreak” move to the “Meridian”.
